We do not accept applications from organizations outside of HCPS.
To help you determine this, here are a few questions to consider:
- What specific problem(s) will my grant project address?
- What data do I have (or can obtain) that shows this is a problem?
- What makes my project innovative?
- How many students will be impacted?
- As a result of the project, what outcomes do I hope to achieve?
- What will be included in the project budget?
It varies from cycle to cycle and depends on things like the current budget and total applications submitted. We are always open to discussing your specific needs.
There are two annual cycles. We complete a full fall cycle and spring cycle in which teachers and administrators submit their proposals to HEF’s Program Officer for HEF Educational Initiatives.
