Ready for School!
Holladay Elementary
Ready for School backpacks provide preschoolers in seven Henrico school zones with the resources to help them get a jumpstart on their school readiness skills. Bilingual resources serve to support the Dual Language Immersion program as it grows each school year. A website was created by the school's Technology Support Technician, Pre-K Teacher, and Kindergarten Dual Language Immersion Teacher with videos in English and Spanish for using the contents of the backback to help parents prepare their children for preschool. Customized backpacks for families of preschool age children were recently distributed at Holladay Elementary. Families also received information about eligibility and the application process for Henrico County Public Schools Early Learning Preschool program.
