The Henrico Education Foundation is committed to providing exceptional out-of-school programming for students across Henrico County. We offer two innovative models: Community Learning Centers (CLCs) and Learning & Discovery (L&D) programs.

Community Learning Centers service the following schools:

  • Fair Oaks Elementary
  • Glen Lea Elementary
  • Highland Springs Elementary
  • Holladay Elementary
  • Laburnum Elementary
  • Montrose Elementary
  • Ratcliffe Elementary
  • Brookland Middle
  • Fairfield Middle
  • John Rolfe Middle
  • Highland Springs and Varina High Schools at The Oak

Our Community Learning Center afterschool programs are grant funded programs aimed to improve student learning and build stronger families and healthier communities. These programs provide academic tutoring and a wide variety of enrichment activities designed to increase and support student achievement, attendance, and positive behaviors during the school day and after school. These programs operate at no cost to families through grant funds. Schedules vary by school site.

Our Learning & Discovery Program provides a wide variety of enrichment excursions designed to support student achievement in a safe and fun environment. These fee-based programs operate each afternoon that school is in session until 6pm.
