Erin Daniel
Program Officer – Innovative Grants and Educational Initiatives
Erin Daniel, Program Officer for Educational Initiatives, started with HEF in August 2022. Previously, she spent 17 years working for Henrico County Public Schools where she served as an English teacher and then Innovative Learning Coach. She is a graduate of Virginia Tech where she studied both English and Biology and received her Master’s of Arts in Magazine, Newspaper and Online Journalism from Syracuse University.
Erin is passionate about health and wellness and enjoys lifting weights and walking. She and her husband, John, love to travel to see Pearl Jam. Most often, you will find her spending time with her two children, Skylar and Kellen, and hanging out outside with their 3 dogs.
Through her work with HEF, Erin is excited to live her ‘why’ - helping people feel valued and supported so they can tackle tough challenges.
