Scholarships & Memorial Funds create lasting opportunities for Henrico students while honoring the people, passions, and legacies that inspire our community. Through the generosity of donors, families, businesses, and community partners, these funds help remove financial barriers and support students as they pursue their educational and career goals.
Our scholarship and memorial funds support students in a variety of ways, including:
- Scholarships for graduating seniors pursuing college, trade school, military service, or career certifications
- Memorial scholarships that celebrate the lives and values of beloved educators, students, and community members
- Awards recognizing academic achievement, leadership, service, perseverance, and career readiness
- Donor-created funds that reflect personal passions and create a lasting impact for future generations

Opportunity in Action exists for those moments when a need arises, an opportunity appears, or a challenge stands in the way—and there isn't a traditional funding source available. Opportunity in Action has helped support:
- Field trip assistance so every student can participate in transformative learning experiences, regardless of financial circumstances
- Travel and competition expenses for student teams who earned the opportunity to advance to regional, state, or national events
- School projects that fell just short of their fundraising goals but had the potential to create a lasting impact
- Emerging needs that require quick action to ensure students don't miss out
