Megan Wing
Director of Curriculum
Megan Wing joined the HEF team as Director of Curriculum after spending the last six years teaching Pre-K, Kindergarten, third grade and university courses for aspiring educators. She has taught at public, private and nontraditional schools in Oklahoma, Washington, Virginia, and Mexico and brings what she learned from her time as a classroom teacher to her role with HEF. Megan holds a B.A. from the University of Richmond, a certificate in Outdoor Education from IslandWood, and an M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Washington. She is excited to help craft an engaging and responsive approach to curriculum for HEF programs and support HEF’s teachers.
In her free time, Megan likes to cook new recipes, write poetry, read and listen to audiobooks, try new restaurants in the Richmond area, and travel (or dream about the next trip!)
