Micky Ogburn
Past Henrico School Board Member
Micky Ogburn served on the Henrico County School Board representing the Three Chopt District from 2014-2023, having served two terms as Chairman of the School Board. In addition to her duties as a School Board member, Micky was the School Board's representative on the HEF Board, thus becoming an avid supporter of HEF and its many programs. She also served on the Policy Committee and represented the School Board on the Maggie Walker Governor's School Regional School Board.
Micky was a teacher for more than 20 years after graduating from Longwood College with degrees in Elementary Education and History Education. She is an active community volunteer and has been married to her husband, David, for over 45 years. They have two sons, who both graduated from Henrico County Public Schools, and are blessed with two granddaughters. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling with family and is a proud members of the 50 states club.
