Blake Hodges

Blake is Executive Vice President and Chief Risk Officer at Genworth Financial, Inc. where he is responsible for overseeing the company’s enterprise risk management programs, data protection and cybersecurity, and crisis management program. Since first joining Genworth in 2002, Blake has served in a variety of leadership positions, including roles with responsibilities for oversight of enterprise risk management programs, financial reporting systems, operational and technology platforms, and testing and quality assurance programs.
Blake received a B.S. in Decision Support Systems from Virginia Polytechnic Institute (Virginia Tech) and graduated from the Tuck Global Leadership Program through Dartmouth in 2020. He enjoys coaching youth sports, traveling, spending time with family at the beach, and watching all things Virginia Tech sports related. Blake and his wife have lived in Henrico County for nearly 15 years. Both of their kids attended Henrico County elementary schools and his oldest will be a part of the Glen Allen High School graduating class of 2028. Blake is passionate about ensuring all students receive the support they need to succeed and is excited to be a part of HEF.
