Afterschool Enrichment Program
Learning & Discovery
Our Learning & Discovery program is a fee-based after-school offering, providing enriching experiences in a safe, affordable environment. We host programs for ten elementary schools and award scholarships to financially disadvantaged students. In the summer months, we engage students in six-week programs to prevent learning loss.
Programs feature activities tailored to each school’s unique needs, developed in collaboration with school leadership, staff, and students. Through these initiatives, we’re fostering academic growth and creating stronger, more vibrant educational communities. Sample activities include:
- Coding/Robotics
- Music/Drama
- Visual Arts
- Athletics/Yoga
- Chess
- Cooking
- Public Speaking
- Science/Nature
Students are assigned to groups of approximately 12-15, based on similar grade levels. Due to high demand for the program, space is limited.
Our L&D program operates each afternoon that school is in session from school dismissal until 6 pm. We follow all Virginia licensing requirements.

The Learning & Discovery Program does not operate on days when schools are closed for student holidays or other scheduled and unscheduled school facility closures.
