She brings over 12 years of experience as an educator and leader.
A proud mother of two, Kamara dedicates much of her time and energy to her children and family. She moved to Henrico, Virginia in 2020 and appreciates the diverse opportunities the area offers, though she still cherishes the country life of the Mississippi Delta.
In addition to her role at HEF, Kamara owns and operates P.G.R. Taxes LLC, where she provides tax preparation services for individuals and small businesses. She is currently pursuing her bachelor's degree in accounting and finance at Strayer University, with an expected graduation in September 2026.
Outside of work and school, Kamara enjoys cooking, watching movies, baking, spending time with her family and significant other. Her favorite part of working with HEF is serving students, supporting their academic growth, and witnessing their success. She is especially passionate about the fact that HEF provides students with valuable learning opportunities at no cost to families.
