Funding Pre-K Education

Henrico Education Foundation leads a series of Early Childhood Education support initiatives. These initiatives open spaces in private childcare centers and family day homes to preschool students ages 3 and 4 on the waitlist for public Pre-K or for those that need a full day, full year program. Knowing that 85% of brain development happens before age 5, it’s imperative that all eligible students have the chance to attend preschool.
