Four HCPS innovative learning coaches are “innovation rock stars”

Twice each year, the Henrico Education Foundation awards grants to HCPS educators with groundbreaking ideas for their school or classroom. (Check out some of the amazing innovation-grant-funded projects from across Henrico County at https://henricogives.org/grants/ .)

Four HCPS Innovative Learning Coaches received special recognition for their successful HEF innovative grants at a recent meeting at the Science Museum of Virginia. HEF Program Officer Paula Roop recognized  Danny Jones; Greenwood ES, Taren Meekins; Glen Allen HS, Erin Daniel; Quioccasin MS, and Amanda Kinsler; Tuckahoe MS. Through 15 grant projects beginning in 2016 these ILC’s brought $150,438 to their schools impacting 17,147 students and teachers.
