Extended Day students from Glen Lea Elementary participated in Lego League competition

Eight Extended Day students at Glen Lea Elementary School participated in the First Lego League competition on Sunday at Maggie Walker High School. Students from across Virginia came together to innovate and solve problems. They were inspired, and demonstrated their creativity, and hope for a stronger, more sustainable future. Glen Lea parents showed their support by spending the day with their student offering cheers as they completed the mission. Thanks to coaches Zachary Vogt and Meg Viar, and Marci Goode, CLC site coordinator, who made it possible for these students to experience lego robotics!
