Gerald Britt

Gerald Britt is passionate about education as he comes from a family of educators; his mother was a teacher and his sister is currently a teacher. He believes in the Elizabeth Warren quote, “Education is a good foundation for a better future.”
Gerald is a 1990 graduate of Franklin High School where he was an outstanding athlete in basketball. Upon graduating from Franklin High School, he matriculated to Virginia State University where he was awarded a full four-year basketball scholarship and was captain of the basketball team for 3 years. In 1994, Gerald graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting.
Upon completing his degree from Virginia State University, Gerald went on to begin his career with Xerox Corporation. He has been with Xerox for 27 years and has served in several different capacities; his current role is General Manager for several regions within the company. He is responsible for sales strategy and strategic relationships with clients in the different regions in his assignment.
Gerald currently resides in Glen Allen, Virginia, with his wife, LaChanda Britt and two beautiful daughters, London and Taylor. Both of his daughters attend Henrico County Public Schools. During his leisure time Gerald enjoys traveling and is a huge sports fanatic.
